Do you have any recommendations on a hotel north of Boston? Looking for something between Canobie Lake Park and Logan, so probably right off 93.

Did you see my message to you? It looks like the half-price deal to Liquid Planet can still be purchased today ($18 pp for waterpark admission, one round mini golf and one zip line ride)

Your 1/2way point between Logan and Canobie Lake would be roughly North Reading, but I can't think of any hotels there. If you don't mind staying a wee bit closer to Boston, I can recommend the Marriott in Burlington. I especially like their restaurant, Summer Winter.

My office summer outing is at Canobie next Friday and then hubby has a Flag Football tournament in East Boston all weekend, so we were thinking that instead of driving back and forth all 3 days, we could at least spend Friday night up that way and then head home after Saturday's tourney. Then Sunday he can go back up to East Boston by himself.

I did see it, thank you. I actually got one of those deals in my email too, but I was holding out a bit because I wanted to make sure the weather was going to be good. I also found a Buy 1, Get 1 on their website which I did print.

Just got back from four nights at Disney. Didn't stay at Beach Club (we were at POFQ and got upgraded to a river view) but we did visit and had ice cream sundaes at Beach and Cream and sat outside overlooking Stormalong Bay at dusk. What a great place to have a relaxing sundae.

Isn't it fun! Hope that you enjoyed your stay at POFQ. Love the beignets there.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Noodles have already been reserved for the date you are looking for (Tuesday July 31)- if you want you can try to contact the family that will have them to see if you can work something out.

Geez Dee, now you are making me feel old. My DW and I were there in early Dec. 1982 on one of the two free trips she had "won". My oldest DD was born earlier that year. We were able to leave her with her grandmother for a few days while we escaped to the Poly. Brings back memories.

Right there with you Katesdad. We visited EPCOT in June 1983 on our honeymoon! Wish I had enough insight to save our ticket stubs.

For my CL stays, I've actually made them with IPO, but having them with both couldn't hurt...right?

For sure IPO. Keep in mind several of these rooms connect so if that is important NOT to connect, discuss the possibilities with IPO and keep in mind there is at least 1 handicapped room in this category as well.

Easy to please and you should be all set! According to my notes, all of the BC GV CL rooms have full balconies! I would certainly keep the request on your reservation, but unless any of the room designations have changed, you should get a GV room with a full balcony!

Our first Epcot visit was May of 1983. First onsite stay as well. We were at FW in a trailer. It was perfect with a toddler and baby. Ah, memories.

Laurie they ALL have full balconies on BC GV CL - so honestly my request in your case would be "non handicapped room" unless ofcourse you need it.The one I refer to has the sink IN the bathroom and terrible water pressure in the shower bc it is handheld....

Thanks for the tip I have A LOT of hair (think Merida from Brave only blond) and bad water pressure is a nightmare when trying to get the shampoo out

Absolutely no worries!

Actually the info about the situation with GV and full balconies can't be found on page 1 - it is in my personal notes, so you wouldn't have found anything there!
