Hello All

I wonder if anyone here will be able to help me with the answers to a few questions -

- Is there still a Studios only Annual pass? All I see on the website is 2-Park Preferred Pass & 2-Park Power Pass.
I am asking this because back in late September 2000 we upgraded what was left on our tickets for annual pass vouchers for the Studios only. We had hoped we would be returning in the near future to Universal - but sadly this did not happen. The good news is we are planning a trip to Orlando in September this year!

- Will we be able to redeem these vouchers for passes when we go? The value on the back of the tickets is $95.35. If there is no longer a pass for the Studios only, do you think we will be allowed to upgrade these vouchers for something that is available? I hope it would not be too much extra in cost as that would be hard on our budget.

I think my husband would be quite pleased if we could get a pass for both the Studios & IOA as well - he is a coaster fan and I am not! We choose the pass just for the Studios back in 2000 to save money really. We did enjoy IOA when we went in 1999 & 2000 - especially Spiderman!!

Sorry if this post is a little confusing & thanks in advance for any answers,
Claire:D

Even if there is still a USF only annual pass, if you can upgrade to the Power Pass (i.e., they let you and its dates fit your trip), I would certainly do that for only $17 more ...

I have no idea what the answer is for you, but I can tell you that when something similar happened to us, they went OVERBOARD IMO!

1996-planned a trip to Orlando and DH bought 2 one-day US passes for us. Trip cancelled.

2000-I take a girls only trip and buy two-park AP for myself.

2001-go for two days with DH. Day one we use the 1996 US pass with no problem. At the end of day one I go to Guest Services, to see if that ticket has any value towards IOA, or if I just have to buy a full-price ticket for DH. They just gave me an IOA ticket in exchange for it. I expected to at least pay an ungrade fee, since it was from 1996 and the park price for US at that time was $30+! He wouldn't even accept a tip!

Morale: Ask---they are pretty darn accommodating!

Patti
