Old School Refillable Mugs

I know someone will know this one.

We have some refillable mugs for the All Star hotels that we bought many many moons ago. When we bought them they were "good forever" at that specific hotel.

Now that Disney is going to having a chip in the mugs to get your pop, how is this handled if you have one of the old mugs that was good forever?

There is a thread about refillable mugs in the stickies of the Resorts Board. Read it.

But if you ask Disney directly, they will tell you that that never had forever mugs and they can change their policy at any time, Your old mugs won't be good at the resorts that have the chipped mugs.
