I am sure this has been asked but I can't find it. I won a ticket from the Superbowl and will be going to Orlando in October. My question is this I know I have to take my voucher and get the ticket, but is the ticket then in my name or can I give it to my grandson? Or is that against the rules?

The ticket is non transferable. It states it on the voucher. You will have to show a picture ID when you get your ticket.

Its against the rules for anybody other than the contest winner to use the ticket, but I believe there were a few that previously posted they were able to do this after they redeemed the voucher into a ticket. If you grandson's age appearance would show that he was not eligible to enter the contest, it would make a lot harder to attempt to do this.

When I redeemed my voucher at the window they just gave me a ticket. The lady at the window didn't make me sign it in front of her. We then went off to the turnstiles where they made all of us sign our tickets (I got my kids ones at AAA and mine was from the Superbowl contest). They didn't ask for ID at the turnstiles so I suppose I could have given the ticket to someone else to use.

I have a superbowl voucher and the only real thing it states is that to get the ticket you must have id with matching address and does not state you can't give someone the ticket after you recieve it but I do agree that its not fair that some will do this and had probably already been done by some

I think when you trade in your voucher, you get a regular ticket and from what I have heard, tickets do not have your name on them. I think the whole non-transferable thing was so that someone couldn't sell the ticket; I can't imagine someone having a problem with someone giving it away to a relative.

I won both the Superbowl contest and the NBC affiliate contest, so I have 1 ticket and 1 voucher. I plan on my son using the ticket; it has no name or anything on it.

I have my ticket in front of me from the other day when I turned my voucher in...I had to show my ID. The ticket (that looks just like the AAA tickets) just says Complimentary--Not to be Sold Expires 6 days after 1st use or on 12/31/09 .... 7 day 2 park Comp My name is not on the ticket, but I did have to sign it in front of the employee at the ticket window.

It does state nontransferable, must be used by same person on all days and nonrefundable--not for resale or exchange.

But do they do finger identification when you trade in the voucher for the ticket? I was thinking they do finger identification at the turnstile? If that is the case, as long as the same person uses the ticket each time, you should be fine. The OP was talking about giving her grandchild the ticket as soon as she redeemed it, not after she had already used it.

I used my superbowl ticket the other day. It does not have my name on it (they told me to write my first name on it, which I did- I'm such a lemming). They did have me do the finger print thing so I assume the ticket is linked to me once that is done. But it shouldn't matter who actually is the person who uses the ticket, but who ever uses it first, it's their ticket for the 7 days (because of the finger print). I don't see anything wrong with giving it to someone else once you obtain it, so long as only one person is using it. I actually think the lady did not ask me for my ID when I turned my coupon in for the ticket, but I did just hand it to her, figuring she would ask.

The ticket does say "must be used by the same person all days". That seems fair to me.
