Old Park Hoppers Still Good?

Will the old style park hoppers still be good after the tickets change on January 2?

I bought my tickets just a few weeks before the announcement. I will not be happy if I cannot use them.

yes the old tickets will still be good. Like the disney fairy tails, and they lived happily ever after. But that is going to change soon so buy your tickets before Jan 2nd if you want that great feature.

We just bought our tickets yesterday. The 4 Day Hopper Plus. We wanted to get one more set in for our upcoming trip before the changes. All will be honored and excepted.

I thought single 1-day tickets expire for good on Jan 2nd. That would be my only thought on this question. Maybe I am wrong, but I thought I saw that posted on Deb's site. All other hopper passes would be honored.

One day passes purchased after December (can't remember the exact date but around the 4th) expire in Jan...however should anyone have any one day passes purchased prior to that date they will not expire.

I just used one from 1997 and it was still good.
The only problem that we had was that we were going into Animal Kingdom, which did not exist in 1997 so they just re-ticketed it and we just walked right in.
No problem.

Tell me about this scenario: I just bought a 5 day Park Hopper Pass at the Disney Store. DS will be using it in January. Will it be encoded in January so that only he can use it? If he uses 3 days of it, can Mom use the other 2 days of the pass when she goes in May, or can only DS use those last 2 days?

If you bought it before January 2nd it's a regular Hopper Pass and can be used by anyone. The one from 1997 that my sister used was actually my son's.
No problem.
