Old Navy Plus Size/free shipping codes?

How does everyone like the old navy plus size stuff? I have several pieces from when I used to buy it in the stores, but I think it is exclusively online now.

Does anyone have a free shipping code? And do you know if I am unhappy with them if I can return things at the store?

One recent change I've noticed is no returns to the store are usually listed on each of the plus sized products. You can go in store and order on line from there and then no shipping as it is delivered to the store and you can try on and not purchase what you do not like. I am personally usually happy with what I order, but I find it a hassle to shop with a place that isolates bigger sizes and has a separate return policy on them--make it easy for me to shop or my shopping $$ can be spent elsewhere!

And on top of no longer letting you return plus size clothing to the store, a few months ago they stopped letting you exchange or return your item for free -- it will cost you another $6 shipping if you use their bag via UPS or you pay using your own method. After you pay shipping to you and shipping back for an exchange, you lose all savings by shopping at Old Navy vs. Lane Bryant or Eddie Bauer.

Oh yes, and while clothing that is returned to the store has 90 days, they now require all "return by mail only" products to be returned in 45 days.

Plus (no pun intended), unfortunately, it's been my experience that plus sizing at Old Navy isn't remotely reliable across the line, and their pics can be misleading, so I had to exchange at least 50% of the time for a different size (up AND down, go figure) and flat out return 25%.

To top it all off, I kept getting items that would start losing seams after one wash and the tshirts would get holes in them...not exaggerating..after TWO wears.

I used to give them a lot of business, but they just kept making policy changes making it harder and harder to shop with them -- almost like they're trying to kill the line all together by making it so inconvenient that they can claim it was lack of sales that forced them to end the plus size line. Either that or their execs are just idiots.

I like the clothes because I think they are more modern than a lot of plus sized clothers. However, I've found through a lot of trial and error...and money spend on return shipping...that the "short" length pants are still about six inches too long for me (not sure why...any other short length pants fit fine) and I have to order a size up for shirts. So, I would say it is hit or miss for me.

Maybe we should all write letters expressing our dissatisfaction. I am going to, I really just put it off until I finished up the school year. I understand that they do not stock plus sizes, so returning to the store may mean a loss for them, but really segmenting it so that the entire line is separate from the other items they sell is quite unfair. If they wanted to keep a separate policy they could do another "spin off" shop of trendy plus clothing like they did with piper lime and shoes as well as the new "sporty" thing the parent complany has.

While they officially don't take returns in the stores, the last time I was at Old Navy with a friend I was speaking to one of their employees and she said that most stores will take the plus sized returns. Sure enough, I went to their clearance section and found some plus size items. It may be hit or miss but some stores definitely do it.

Perosnally, I've not had issues with the quality of their items like some have indicated and I've never returned anything so I can't comment on that. I do love their bras and I'm really sad because it looks like they are no longer making them.
