And on top of no longer letting you return plus size clothing to the store, a few months ago they stopped letting you exchange or return your item for free -- it will cost you another $6 shipping if you use their bag via UPS or you pay using your own method. After you pay shipping to you and shipping back for an exchange, you lose all savings by shopping at Old Navy vs. Lane Bryant or Eddie Bauer.
Oh yes, and while clothing that is returned to the store has 90 days, they now require all "return by mail only" products to be returned in 45 days.
Plus (no pun intended), unfortunately, it's been my experience that plus sizing at Old Navy isn't remotely reliable across the line, and their pics can be misleading, so I had to exchange at least 50% of the time for a different size (up AND down, go figure) and flat out return 25%.
To top it all off, I kept getting items that would start losing seams after one wash and the tshirts would get holes in them...not exaggerating..after TWO wears.
I used to give them a lot of business, but they just kept making policy changes making it harder and harder to shop with them -- almost like they're trying to kill the line all together by making it so inconvenient that they can claim it was lack of sales that forced them to end the plus size line. Either that or their execs are just idiots.
