So Old Navy assummed there wouldn't be a great demand for these shirts yet they are sold out in less than an hour? They really dropped the ball on this.

That I would agree on - though they had a very limited quantity.
And they were over a week late getting to the stores.

FYI -only one Old Navy in the Boston area got them in.

The Old Navy "mega" store in Manhattan (Herald Square) were sold out . DD 13 wanted 2 to wear. We are hoping the web site will have them in stock.

Old Navy never stocked them where I live. I made a contribution to http://www.itgetsbetter.org/ in honor of my daughter.

I did make a t-shirt on Zazzle. This is the front http://www.zazzle.com/love_is_love_tshirt-235123238664685513 , though I got a cute pink shirt, and I customized the back to read:

my gay daughter deserves the same rights as my straight daughter

I wore it proudly to our first Pride parade! Someday I hope to ceremonially burn it when our state comes to it's senses and she can marry here.
