MagicBands stay active on your MyDisneyExperience account unless you deactivate them. You can link another ticket to your account and use the same MagicBands.
Unless you deactivated them, they have the same thing linked to them as they had before; your MDE account. Your MDE account holds all the info, the MBs just link there. If there's anything in your account that allows you to get FP+s, you can do that. Right now I don't have a resort reservation or a ticket; I couldn't get anything right now with all of my 6 MBs.
Does that mean if you have more than one, such as a red one and a blue one, that you could wear different Magic Bands on different days during the same vacation? We have two each, and it would be fun to color-coordinate them to clothing when possible.

If you really wanted to, you could wear both on the same day.... one on each wrist. That way you could hit a scanner on either side without having to go cross-armed.
Ok so what I'm wondering is if previous ones can be used for DME. We are in Canada so the MBs don't get mailed to us however we have ours from last year, left them active, and hate having to pull out the booklet to scan at DME and wonder if we can use them for DME?
Also I'm wondering if anyone has received a slider with their MB this year. I liked the glow in the dark 2013 one we received and would like a 2014 one.

MBs connect to your account (MDE). Whatever's on MDE is linked to your MB. So if Magical Express is on your account, it should connect to your old band.

We got blue annual passholder sliders with our passholder MBs in the mail a couple of weeks ago. Don't have the glow in the dark one - that would be cool.
