Old Key West ?

How many pools are at Old Key West.. and how large is the resort in comparision to CBR or POR

There are four pools at OKW. The Hospitality House pool with the sandcastle slide, the Turtle Shack pool, the quiet pool on Miller's Rd, and the quiet pool on South Point.

The resort is huge, exceeded probably only by SSR. It can take a while for the buses to make a full trip around the resort.

I have been a dvc member at OKW sinc 1994 and love the resort. Although the resort is large, it is stratgically planned and we have never felt it was TOO large. We have stayed in all the areas and used all the pool areas. We love the turtle pond pool even more than the main area, although being near the community hall, boat rentals and store/food is convenient. Each pool area has the laundry facilities for those who are only staying in a studio(they are free). It is not a long walk from miller's road to the HH area, even the farthest area at southpoint is still walkable(and enjoyable walk). We are returning for xmas week again this year!

We have stayed here several times. The resort is spread out with quiet pools in different areas. The big pool with the slide is at the hospitality house. This wasn't a big deal for us. We just got in the car and drove over. Cars are parked in front of your room.

I think there were 3.

DH and I drove around the complex before we checked in, DH wanted to see if there was a quiet pool since that is where we would spend most of our time. We liked the pool by buildings 53-56

When we checked in they put us in building 55 second floor and it was perfect!

We have stayed at CBR and POR many many times and they seem to be much more crowded and bigger than OKW
