I'll be staying there for a day or two before I start the college program and I am looking to get opinions on the resort from people who have stayed there before.

what do you want to know?

the studios have 2 queen beds, balcony, kitchennett and a big bathroom.

I loved my stay there. We had 4 people (DS, DS's BFF,and my BFF) in a 2 bedroom unit. We loved Olivias, the apple pie is to die for. We never used the pool as it rained almost every afternoon, but they have improved it since 2003. We had a great stay there.

I just wanted to know about the restaurants, lounges, etc...

one restuarant - Olivia's

2 snack bars - one near the main pool - goods' to go

the other near the Old Turtle Pond pool area - Turtle Shack

it is very relaxing. each pool has a whirlpool (spa)

there is a real sauna under the lighthouse at the main pool.

also have tennis court, volleyball, half court basketball, bike and boat rentals at hank's

in the community hall - there are games you can take to your room, they have some computer games to be played there, generally a game table (sorry this kepts changing - so I can't tell you exactly which one)

you can rent DVD - I think all of the studios now have a DVD player in them.

the main pool has a slide shaped like a sand castle

the lounge is more of a bar - it is tiny. Sorry don't remember the name. It is between - Olivia's and good's to go.

also when the turtle shack snack bar is open - she services drinks. (very limited hours - check to be sure it is open before you go)

So what do you do for breakfast if you do not want a sit down meal at Olivia's or have a car to go grocery shopping?

Their gift shop sells things for breakfast:

cereal, milk, juice, and donuts.

You could always grab a bite at one of the parks CS's.

We stayed there in October. It's a great location, aesthetically pleasing, great pools, friendly staff. Didn't think much of Olivia's. Ate their twice. Food wasn't too great and the service was S-L-O-W.

The do have yummy strawberry smoothies at the little shack by the main pool though
