Old Key West Transportation

Hi all,

I tried searching but didnt' come up with much so here goes. How is the transportation from Old Key West to the parks? I have read that the bus makes a few stops around Old Key West but after that does it go directly to the parks or does it stop at other resorts as well?

I believe there are a total of 5 stops (it could be 4) including Hospitality House for the OKW bus. It does not stop at any other resort before heading to the park it's designated for.

I think I'm remembering 5 total stops (including Hosp House). We were at the next-to-last stop, and never encountered a full bus, but I can see where that might happen during peak travel season. We liked that there was only one other stop before we headed to the parks each day, and sitting through the other three stops usually wasn't that bad because we were enjoying a chance to sit down (there were a few times when DS was tired and uncooperative and I would have paid extra to be let off at the first stop, but that's another story).

As far as the regularity of the buses, we didn't have any issues. There were times we waited for only a couple of minutes, and times when we waited about 15 minutes - about the same experience we've had at WL and CB.

Overall how would you compare the travel time to WL. It appears, at least to me, that over the course of a 7 day trip spending time at all of the parks that OKW would be the same or less total travel time than WL. WL was great for MK but going to AKL, MGM or Epcot seemed to take awhile where at OKW it seems like Epcot and MGM at least are pretty close.
