I need some info.

Do you get a fridge & stove with an OLD KEY WEST Studio?

We are new DVC members & have never stayed there, but the drawing in the book we just got from DVC does not show any fridge or kitchen/stove.

2 queen beds, shower/bath, TV is about all the drawing shows.

Thanks for filling me in.

Paul

Just returned from a 6 night OKW studio stay and they do not have stoves. They do have a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and sink.

There is not a stove in the studio, there is a microwave and small under the counter refrig (dorm size) and small sink. In an area across from the closet if you are looking at the drawing. Also some paper plates and ceramic coffee mugs along with coffee pot and small dish soap and paper towels.

Thanks

Just something to hold milk, juice & beer cold is good enough.

Muffins, milk & juice for b-fast before golf

beer & munchies for after golf

Have a nice trip.::yes::

FYI though, no studio's in any of the DVC's have a stove. All studio's will have a kitchenette with a wet bar/sink,small fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and paper plates & utensils and real coffee mugs and glasses.
OKW is the only DVC that will have the 2 queen beds, all others will have a queen bed and pull-out sofa.

All DVC's in a 1bdrm and larger though will have a full kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, microwave and larger fridge.

HTH's some:wave:

Hi pms122765, did you purchase a resale or direct from DVC? If you purchased direct, your guide didn't provide you enough info on DVC and its accomodations.

Studios do not have full kitchens - only 1-beds, 2-beds and GV's have full kitchen accomodations.

Hi CeeJay! How was your stay at OKW Studio?? My son and I are staying there for the first time next month. What building/room were you in and was it nice?? Convenient to quiet pools, bus stop? We'll have a car so I don't really care how far our building is from the HH. We'll walk anway. Thanks for your help!!

We were in 1736 which is on the 3rd floor. The bus stop and one of the quiet pools were right around our building but far enough away to not hear any of the noise. The Hospitality House was within walking distance. Laundry is at the quiet pool so it was handy, as well. We are actually BWV owners but this was our 3rd stay at OKW, and our first ever in a studio anywhere. We had gotten them for family and friends a few times but my DH said he didn't see us ever staying in one. Well guess what?? A great surprise in July, 60 points we had forgotten we had banked and needed to be used by December. We booked the studio and I would do it again in the same situation. Even my DH agreed. Beware that there are no elevators in this building so it was a hike to the 3rd floor but we both needed the workout and it was very quiet except one night a Diet Coke can exploded as the fridge was set too cold. I had never had one explode at the seams, only from the top, so it was quite the noise at 4:00 AM. Other than that no issues. We even booked a night for our inlaws from VB in a studio. They were in building 19 which was a smoking building and they had a studio on the ground level. It was also in great condition. We always enjoy our OKW stays and this was no exception. Took the DVC Ferry over to DD one night just to enjoy the boat. Had breakfast at Olivias one morning and the CMs were extremely friendly. All in all a great trip. Hope yours is great also!

You can do limited cooking on the BBQ grills that are located around some of the resorts.

Thank you Ceejay! I appreciate the reply and the wishes for a good trip as well!
