We will be staying at OKW (own at BCV) 6/4-6/11. We have an active 8 year old DD who likes to be able to jump into a pool. I have read that people request certain rooms or buildings but don't know anything about the different rooms. We will have a studio. Any suggestions?

We will also be at BCV 12/19-12/22. Any suggestions there?

Thanks this is the first time we have used our ownership since we joined last summer following a trip to VB resort.

For easy pool access at OKW I recommend buildings 53 thru 56 near the South Point quiet pool (near a bus stop too), 41 & 42 near the Turtle Pond pool and the Turtle Shack snack bar, or 19 & 20 near the Miller's Road pool (also near a bus stop). All these buildings should have very nice views. I think in all these buildings the studios are on the ends with one and two bedroom units in the middles.

If it makes a difference for you be sure to request smoking or non, first floor, handicapped access or not… You can call Member Services now and make your requests. There are no guarantees but they try to give you what you ask for.

I hope you enjoy your trip! :earsboy:

Just wanted to say hello. Our family just closed on a contract at BCV. Because it is too late to find anything at BCV we too will be at OKW. June 7th -13th. 2 boys 12 and 14. Wife is also a teacher.
Hope we get to see you during out stay. Dennis

IN addition to the above buildings listed, I have a few room reports on studios at OKW. The only buildings where people have commented on closeness of the pool (with studios listed) are 12 and 63 (main pool), then #20-quiet pool. As far as BCV is concerned, I'm sure InstImpres will have much more information for you on rooms at that resort.

Last summer we stayed in building 55, which has a quiet pool right next to it. While you stay in your room, your little jumper can have hours of fun.:bounce:

Then just take your car, or a bus, up to the main pool. She'll enjoy a lot of time there too.:earsboy:

There is really no such thing as a room at OKW far from a pool. If someone says building 45, that might be the one that has a little walk to a pool. Your 8 year old will have to have you with him to go in the pool so "jumping into a pool" meaning running out of your unit to do so would not make any difference. Some people have suggested rooms that a real close to pools, but I just wanted to let you know, assuming no one has trouble walking, that all pools at OKW are close as are the bus stops.

We will also be at BCV 12/19-12/22. Any suggestions there?

There is a quiet pool (Dunes Cove) at BCV and then of course there is the SAB theme pool between BC and YC

Did you want to be near the Quiet Pool or as much as possible towards the BC end of BCV?

thanks
