Has anyone stayed at Old Key West? Did you like it & what was the experience like etc.? I never have and I'm super excited!

Well it's been a while since I've stayed there, but it's pretty cool. But it's also big. It's like the same stuff at other resorts. Pool, arcade, restaraunts, etc. But the slide looks like a sand castle. ;) It's one of my mom's fave resorts, next to WL!

Thanks! It looks huge on the maps! I'm really excited though!

Hi :goodvibes We stayed for two weeks in September/October last year and thought it was very nice. The theming is very pretty and Olivia's is a really nice, relaxed place to eat. The resort has a really homely, chilled out feel and the buildings are all really small, which I loved. My two least favourite things about Disney resorts are lots of foot traffic from looky-loos and giant aircraft hangar-like structures. Neither one is an issue here!

Some considerations, though - we had a downstairs balcony that was barely usable, because it had the building's A/C unit just outside and the noise was a bit much. We had hoped to use the balcony while DS was napping, but it just wasn't comfortable. The QS restaurant is very small, and while we never saw it get busy, the choices were a bit limited for us. We had a room as close to the main building as could be, but it was still a bit of an annoyance to trek back to the room, but that's something you will get with any Disney resort.
