Old Key West & Military Discount?

Military discounts can apply to certain Disney Villas but they cannot be booked by the general public until 6 months out. I am not sure what the restrictions are, but I know when I called re: our trip last year, I was offered one of the AKL Villas, OKW, and BLT.
