Old Key West and BoardWalk

I came back from staying at OKW for a week just a while ago (July 10th-16th). I didn't really like it. It's so spread out. There are 4 or 5 different bus stops in it, because it's so big. And if you would want to go to the arcade, pool, shop, or anything like that, chances are you'd have to take a bus. It was pretty, but I wouldn't want to stay again.

Okay. Please spell it "Crappy" if you're ever going to use it. Second, BW is the best place to stay in WDW (IMHO)

My parents have timeshare at boardwalk, and is great. Not sure about some rooms, since we are DVC members, but the pool is great, and ESPN zone, great boardwalk. arcade, plus you can rent bikes too ride around the lake.

The rooms at OKW are awesome, who cares if it is spread out.

I've never stayed at Old Key West. The Boardwalk is awesome though. Nice rooms and cool pool and waterslide. The actual boardwalk is awesome, especially at night when everything's lit up. A definite plus is being able to walk to Epcot.

We decided to stay at Boardwalk in 2000 for a change and ever since then we've stayed there. It's so cool because it has so much activity. You can stay on the Boardwalk late at night and just walk around, it's so lively! It has great restaurants too!

The boardwalk is gorgeous . I haven't been to OKW. But it's all Disney, so there's no way you could not like it.

no disney hotel is gross or crappy!...they are very well maintained..have fun!

I've stayed at the Boardwalk Villas 3 times and it's a lush hotel. Don't know about the Inn but the actual Boardwalk bit and Villas are really nice.

Hey! OKW is one of the best rsorts of all! The rooms are fabulaous because you can do activities IN them with your FAMILY instead of going to an arcade. If you want to go to the pool, just drive with your family again. If you can't stand the buses then don't use them. It is like 5 stops only. If you can't waste a little time on your vacation then why are you on one. You shouldn't complain about the little things! OKW has travel to DTD as well as the option of renting boats and surrey bikes. Boardwalk may be "fancier," but OKW is still a very high status resort for people trying to relax a bit.

Excuse me, but that was my personal opinion. Not everyone has a car to drive to the places. I liked it, but I did NOT like the bus system. Is that a problem? Why can't people have their own opinions anymore?

I hate to sound rude, but I was really offended by what you said. You made my family seem like a bunch of idiots.
