Old Key West Advise

Hi All!
We'll be staying at Old Key West prior to our Disney Cruise in October.
We've never stayed at there and I've gone on their website, but it's not very helpful in viewing things to do on premise.
We'll be w/DD 4yo, friends and their 8 yo DN, we'll do the parks but wanted to make the best of our time ... any ideas on restaurants, tidbits of info, activities... all welcome PLEASE .

when you check in ask for the activities list.

then see which your young ladies would like to do. (if you can get them out of the swimming pool - the slide is a castle with Mickey on it)

they have unbirthday party, making things, games, DVD's, and other stuff that I don't remember

boats & bikes for rent.

what size villa do you have?

Olivia is the only restuarant, there is a snack bar over at Turtle pond's.

You will get at least a kitchennett (studio) to a full kitchen. so ordering groceries - like wegoshop - is generally what I do.

There is also a very nice water taxi between OKW, SSR, and Downtown Disney. If you want to spend a little time shopping, it's a nice way to spend an afternoon.

We love to pack a picnic lunch....rent a pontoon boat and cruise the Sassagoula. You can rent bikes as well.

Also, for having food delivered to your room, we use :
http://www.giordanos.com/menu.php (use the Lake Buena Vista location). They will deliver right to your OKW villa door (pizza, salads, sandwiches, soups, salads).
As Spicey mentioned....lots of activities that will be provided for you upon check-in. From past stays I recall scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, poolside bingo, pool races etc. You can rent movies and board games from Hanks.
