Does the technology in the interactive wands stop working over time?

I purchased a wand in summer 2014 and I wonder if it will stop working at some point.

No it does not. However, if you have any issues with your wand you can take it into Ollivander's and they will "fix" it for you, in other words swap it out for a new one

I always wonderd about battery life . Ours are maybe 2 years old and going back in September. Good to know about Ollivanders fixing them!

As far as I can tell there are no batteries. The IF thing acts more like a mirror than anything electronic.
