Old Family photos

We just inherited a ton of old family black and white photos, mostly formal portraits in folders and picture frames. I would like to do a scrap book for my daughter of her father's family. I'm used to scrapping new colorful pics. Any ideas, web sites, etc. How do you save old pics? Best place for having copies of old photos made? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I have lots of heirloom photos as well. I didn't want to put the actual photos in books so I went to Kinkos and made color copies on acid free paper. Then I made a scrapbook like I normally would, using the copies. You can't tell the difference unless you feel the thickness of the picture. I was thrilled with how it turned out.
