Old Disney Park photos

I love this thread! Keep the old pics coming!

OK I am going to try to add one. Here is my sister and I. It was probably about 22 years ago if not longer. I bet my parents have a ton at their house.

I love seeing the old pictures. I miss the Mickey Bars with faces.

I found a few more, I think they are all from 1975.

I also have those slides that were available for purchase in MK in the 70's.

I will scan them tomorrow if I have time but in the mean time, here's a photo of the slides.

This is my cousin, me (in the groovy hat/sun visor combo) and my sexy florida beach bunny of a sister with snow white in 1983.

And this is one from the the 3 o'clock parade that starts at, oddly enough, 3 o'clock.

Now that I've finally figured out how to scan the old photos, I'll scan a batch from 85 or 86 in Epcot sometime this week. I love looking at my childhood vacation photos, I can't believe how much I look like my mom, and how much my daughter looks like me! I also like to look at the clothing.

Later I'll post my early 90's pictures with my permed hair and big bangs at MGM. If I can find them I think I know where they are.

You can buy those Mickey face ice cream bars at grocery stores and at Wal-mart. I just saw them there reccently.

Great pictures everyone

You guys are going to make me go out, buy a scanner, and become computer savy! :surfweb: But I bet that by that time, this thread will be over with!

I absolutely love all of these old photos...thanks for sharing guys! :thumbsup2
Here are some of mine from the 25th Ann. I know there are already alot of Cake Castles pics (I liked the castle) I have some 8mm film from our trip in '76, I was 3 at the time. Too bad there's no way of getting that on the comp.

Hey "Madfordonald", is that arcade by Space Mountain still there? (I also took a picture at about the same angle you did.)

This thread is great! Brings back a lot of great memories of trips to WDW and DL with my parents. Makes me want to go visit my parents and dig up old photos. I think my kids would be :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: seeing my Disney photos.

I'm soooo glad that I didn't visit WDW for the 25th and see that pink monster :thumbsup2

Check out this queue for 20,000 leagues, no fastpass!

OMG! Sleeping Becca, that man with the shoes is hilarious :lmao:
I can't hardly stand it, can you imagine him thinking he looked ok for the public? I don't care what year these were taken, there's no way in heck that that was fashionable at anytime! :rotfl:
And that queue is down right scary :scared:
Thanks for the emotional rollercoaster!

Actually, there is! I had a bunch of old reels (16mm and 8mm) that my mom had from her childhood digitized a couple of years ago. There's a company that does it via their site - you mail your stuff to them and they send it back with the stuff on DVD or however you choose. You have the option of how you want it and what quality and they charge by the length of the reels. It was pretty affordable, imho.

The company is Digital Transfer Systems and their site is http://www.digitaltransfersystems.net/

When did the MK introduce strollers? I don't see any strollers in my 1980 pics, most of the adults are carrying their small children. Interesting! There are several strollers in Nbtstatic's photos dated 1982.

Thanks, that's good to know. Actually the 8mm has been put onto VHS back in the early 90's and my dad made me a copy of that to have for myself. I'd like to get it put onto DVD for obvious technological reasons.

These are from when Chef Mickey's was at the Disney Village Marketplace (now DTD). I think these are from 1990 & 1992.
