I tried to look up my old contract codes to find the Priceless code but went back too far and got the old Disney Club code. Before I realized what I had done, I plugged into the online reservation system and it gave me a great rate.

After I realized my mistake I tried all the other current codes but none of them came close to the Disney Club code. The website didn't give me an error or say that the code is no longer valid. Has anybody used this code recently? If so, do they ask you for a Disney Club card at the Emerald check out? I'm thinking of keeping two reservations just in case the first one doesn't work. What do you think?

What is the Disney club code? I'd like to try it for my reservations next month.
I used to be a Disney club member, but never used it for car discounts.

When I used the DC code prior to its demise, I was asked for the card at check out. Don't know if agent always asks or not.

My advice is not to make two reservations with National, especially if you are using your EC membership. National may decide to charge you a penalty if you cancel one too late - remember, they have your credit card on file. You might want to call them and see what they do about "no-shows" or late cancellations. Also a good idea to be aware of the policy at other rental places if you elect to make a back up ressie at another company and you have to leave a credit card number to hold the ressie.

Best wishes -

I would not risk using the DC code as it's not valid anymore and I wouldn't want to run the risk of getting there and them changing my rate.

Did you try both the Carlson code and the Priceless code? They both offer very good discounts. I've used both. Used Carlson code in August and I'm using the Priceless code this Oct/Nov.

Thanks for the responses, but now with Jeanne in the forecast, I'll be changing the reservations anyway. This is our third cancellation due to hurricanes! I'll let everyone know when we plan to go again so you all can make your plans for another week!

The old Disney club ID code is: 5901600. I have no idea if they will still accept it or not.
