It seems early to think about costumes, but since we are putting it together ourselves it may take awhile to find just the right items.

Last year, I started putting together her 80's costume in June and it was so fun to keep an eye out for pieces while we were out and about. In the end, I think it looked great, and it cost me way more than if I'd just bought one, but to me it seemed more authentic.

Darn, I think that will be too big for her. She's tall for 12, but still. I don't think her feet are very big.
She's already in bed, but I'll look tomorrow and double check.
In any event, at least now I know what I am looking for. That style is perfect.

He thought it was all a bit crazy at first but after he met several Divas this past weekend he is on board! And we both had gone the online dating route for awhile before we met each other so he understands that part of meeting on the internet.

Donna--Bella loves her Armadillo--we've played with it every night. She loves to hold one end and tug with her teeth while I hold the other. I love it coz' it totally wears her out! thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

And I love the Magic Castle--have you been there before? I used to date someone who was a member and we went quite often. The Halloween Party there is fantastic (talk about dresssing up!)

I am SO HAPPY she loves it! It struck me as so cute.

Yes, have been to the castle before. Used to live in the apts on the hill above when I was single. But I've never been to the Halloween party! Is it held on the 31st or do they do it on the Sat before?

It was great tonight. My friends knew one of the magicians in the big theater and so he came over and chose some of us to talk to during the show.

I think we scored at Target tonight!! I found a cool maxi dress (those long flowing ones) for Noelle. It's very colorful, but not in a bright flashy way. It looks good on her. And then I found an awesome Peace sign necklace. I took a pic that I'll try and post tomorrow.

I love piecing together costumes. It's so exciting when I find a piece that works perfectly. (I know, I'm easily amused. lol)

The dress sounds great and it'll be useful as a dress too.

Amen to that. I could very well go in either direction. I was thinking last night that I wanted to be a character from Fraggle Rock but I'd end up looking like a crazy Cabbage Patch doll or the annoying insane clown chick from that show big comfy couch. No thanks!

Yeah, the problem is that the head is what sells that character - you'd need to have a head mask.
