Can anyone who's gone recently tell about a little about the Olaf Meet n Greet? Is it fastpass or pager system? What are the wait times looking like? Is there a seperate fastpass or pager for the snow fest area?

It keeps changing...

At first they just had a Olaf outside of Stage 17 with a long line. This was about a 30 minute wait.

Then they changed it just a fastpass line only, with fastpasses handed out near the same outside meet and greet.

When the attraction opened they formed a line on the left to get inside when busy, when not full you could just walk in (mornings). They formed a line on the right side to meet Olaf that let you inside. Inside they have a station like a resturant that put you on the list and give you this pager.

When your pager went off you were allowed into the Olaf line which was about 20-30 minutes.

It is a much longer wait to meet Olaf than Elsa and Anna.

Again, it keeps changing.... And will probably change again soon.

so once they hand you the pager, what do you do? Is this where the snow play is located? Should I bring a change of clothes for my kids?

OLAF:
When you get the pager you are inside where they have food (Meatballs, Corndog bites, Peperment Coco, and sweets. Olaf Merchandise. About every 45-60 minutes the have the "TUBA-a-dours" play frozen songs. Once you have the pager it seemed to be about a 15-20 minute wait to get into the inside line. (60 minutes = 20 outside, 20 with pager, and 20 inside line)

SNOW Play:
Yesterday I was suprised at the line to get into the Snow Play. I expected the crowds to be much less than during the Holiday weeks, but they were huge. The Snow area is in the center. About every 15 minutes they let a new group into the area, that includes sleding. (No Charge, like any other attraction.)

Sing-A-Long:
Easy to get Fastpass, If you get in Standby line 35-45 minutes before show you should get in.

Anna & Elsa Meet & Greet:
Easy to get Fastpasses until late afternoon. Than a short wait.

Draw a Snowman:
Draw Olaf on the hour, Marshmallow on the half.

Royal Theatre in Disneyland Fantasyland:
Closed for remodel. Starting tomorrow, Wed 1/7, it will be Frozen all the time.

Now I love Frozen, but I am a wee bit disappointed to see them turn the theatre into only Frozen. Back in November we watched the Tangled show and it was fantastic, I hate to see them get rid of the others. I know they want to have some sort of Frozen item in Disneyland since they moved everything over to DCA, but still...

Do meet Olaf and the snow play area open at park open? Trying to figure out a strategy.

Olaf's Snow Fest is open all park hours. Best to go early or late.

I have talked to people who had the meatballs with the reaction being OK or better. Corn Dog bites, one "good" one "great"...

Me too! We loved the Tangled show! It was so cute and entertaining. I hate to see it go! I wouldn't mind if they were just switching the Beauty and the Beast one to Frozen as I didn't think it was as entertaining as the Tangled one. We love Beauty and the Beast, but weren't that impressed with that particular show.

Wait, there is no more Tangled show? My daughter has fallen in love with Tangled! I thought all the Frozen stuff was in DCA and the princess stuff was in DL and we could see Tangled!

Tangled and Beauty and the Beast could be back, but for now it's all the Frozen story show. Hopefully it will go back to some kind of rotation......someday.

So do you theres a shot of getting Anna and Elsa passes around 1:30/2 on Sat Feb 7? FP for before 7:00? Or am I dreaming!

You have a good chance. :) Here is a Fastpass obtained yesterday at 2:09pm [The 1409 in the lower right corner].

The return time is 6:20 to 6:40pm.

I hope they put Tangled back in rotation for June. I told my daughter they had a show and she was excited :(.

It was mentioned on the Disneyland podcast this past week that you can get in the line for Olaf and once you get your pager you can go to the snow play area without having to get in the other line that is just for the play area. Has anyone had experience with this?

Yes. That's true. The wait outside for Olaf was 35 min this morning. Then you get your pager and can play in the snow. You could play after meeting him too.

Just confirming that Olaf is ready for M&G when the park opens. Is this true for MM/Early Entrance as well?

We have met the ladies...but need to meet Olaf.

Any suggested sayings/things to do to interact with Olaf? We found this made M&G way more fun at WDW vs. quick signature/picture.

Does Olaf sign?

He's available right at open including early morning. This morning we went straight there at early entry and were first there. They had some vague delay and we foolishly took their advice and went on a ride and came back since they told us he wasn't busy all early morning. When we got back the wait was 35 minutes. I took my son potty during that time and came back around 9:05 and the line was full up outside - probably an hour wait - in the rain. He does sign by drawing a picture of himself. He loves warm hugs.
