I know most of the Frozen Fun was scuttled to make way for the 60th celebration. But is the Olaf meet and greet still at DCA?

It is. It's just Olaf now, no other activities. Operates on a FP only basis.

It's now kind of around the corner from where the sing along is behind Oaken's Trading Post. On Sunday we got to DCA shortly after opening and made it that way about 8:30. Walked right in for Anna & Elsa, didn't need a fast pass (ask first before you go in though) and then Olaf was maybe a ten minute wait. Again, no fast pass needed. I didn't even see a place for a FP for him. Granted it was a relatively quiet day but if you get there close to open you shouldn't have an issue meeting him.

Thanks Angi! How early should I plan to get a FP for him?
They don't go fast at all. We got the FP for him and walked over and got FP for A&E and only had about 10 min to kill before it was time to go see Olaf. This was after lunch on a pretty busy Monday.

Like PP, we went to see A&E first thing on another day and no FP needed at all, just got in line. But if you go over later and need a FP the machine is over sort of off to the left side of where you go in to enter the line for Olaf.

We didn't need to get a FP for Olaf Saturday. Happened to see a line with a few families in front of where Olaf meets, got on it & he came out a minute later. I just checked and my pics were taken at 9:37 am.

There is no more FP for Olaf. He's really tucked away in a corner so hard for kids to see unless you know to go looking for him. The line wasn't at all long earlier this week, maybe 15 minutes mid-morning (which included a 5-minute break).

As an aside: did you happen to see if they were still using the FP system for the Frozen Sing Along? There was one report recently indicating they weren't using the FP for the Sing Along either.

No FP for Frozen Sing Along or Olaf when we were there at the beginning of June. We decided to jump in line for Olaf and it was probably less than 5 minutes long in the middle of the afternoon. Walked right into the Sing Along immediately after. There were people there (more than when I've seen Muppets 3D), but nowhere near full. We didn't try for Anna and Elsa so I have no idea about them.

By the way, "we" is two 23 year olds. :)

What day did you go? We were there on June 8th and they did make us get a FP for Olaf. There was hardly a line and the FP was for a very short time in the future but we had to have it before they let us enter the line. We had to have one for A&E too, but their line was rather long). The only time we didn't need a FP for A&E was on a morning when we went at opening. On that morning the CM said that it was usually FP only but with the line so short he wasn't requiring people to pull them yet. Yes, DGD wanted to meet them twice

Good to know. I have scheduled an Elsa makeover for my DD for Sunday, July 19 at about 10 in the morning. We will want to meet Olaf and A&E after that so trying to figure out timing if we don't want to meet them at opening. Right now, I am thinking of going at about 9:30am to pull FPs as needed.

I was there June 6th and 7th. Pretty sure it was the 7th for Olaf. We walked to the CM right there and they were just like come on! Funny how they change things day to day. In fact, I didn't even see FP anywhere. I guess it's hit-or-miss, but Olaf shouldn't take too long of a wait.

When we were there last weekend, we didn't need a FP for Olaf or E&A at about 10am on Sat. We were also told they were no longer using FPs for the Frozen Sing-a-long. When we saw E&A again on Tues, we needed a FP an hour after opening. I didn't ask if they were still using FPs for Olaf or if it's just because it wasn't busy though.

We asked about this, because we wanted to go to the last show of the night (at 9:00), but didn't have a FP. The CM there said they were trying to do away with the FP for the sing along anyway, and that one is not required. We didn't have FPs and the theater was almost empty. It was such a neat little show, I'd recommend going!

They weren't using the FP for the sing along when I went early June. I went up to get one and they said I didn't need it. I was stuck in the Olaf line for about 30 minutes (apparently he was on the verge of melting and had to go see Elsa for more snow, it was hot that day). We went up and got a seat at 8:55 for the 9:00 a.m. show. It was half full.

What about days with extra magic hours? Olaf and A&E meet during extra magic hours or just when the park opens?

I was there this past week. No FP for Olaf, the FP for A&E was 10 minutes after I got my pass. we waited about 10 minute for Olaf with one "melt" change and the same for girls.

The Sing Along at DL was on FP and they were enforcing it but about 20 people got in on Stand-By. If you want to try to get in without FP, ask where the Stand-By is when you get there, it's not obvious. Stand By sat in back and row ends. FP had a better choice of seat. The kids can sit down front like in Crush.
