~The way Disney is marketing this movie is just odd. Most people think Frozen is about a snowman and a moose! But, it's "supposed" to be more of a princess movie, it features two princesses. I hope Disney's marketing strategy works at the box office!

Disney learned after a so-so box office from The Princess and the Frog that marketing a movie as a "princess movie" turned off interest from boys, so they quietly made an effort to produce and market their movies to be more gender specific. They made a lot of changes to the Rapunzel feature they had in development, including the title change, but I suspect the philosophy will be more evident in this adaption of The Snow Queen since it was developed that way from the start.

Following recent film titles of Enchanted, Tangled, Brave and Frozen, look for Disney to re-release their classics with the titles Poisoned, Indentured, Sedated, Beached and Kidnapped.
