We have never stayed at OKW before and thanks to my brother making a mess of the Thanksgiving reservations at BW by changing his arrival and departure dates we now will. We have points that we need to use by Dec 1 so we are being greedy and going it solo for the first time. I have only heard good things about OKW but is there anything that stands out or that we really take advantage of while it is just the two of us?

You can walk to DD form OKW, and somewhere on this site are the directions. This walk apparently takes oyu right past SSR.

We have enjoyed renting a boat and tooling around to DD, which will also take oyu right past SSR. The little boat the resort opeates to DD is fun. I prefer swimming at a quiet pool as opposed to the main pool.

Not sure if you like walking, but there is a walking path to DTD past building #55 or so in South Point area - you may want to take a nice stroll that way

A nice drink at the bar on the Turtle Krawl would be a + as well

And of course, if you like golfing, a round for two perhaps as well

Thanks

We did our 15th in WDW--stayed at BCV. I surprised my husband on the day of our anniversary with a romantic "illuminations cruise" from the yacht club after a romantic dinner in France. This was definitely a trip we'll always remember. Enjoy!
