OKW - Where to put Pack 'n Plays?

First trip to WDW next week since we had our twins. We rented a 2-BR at OKW through the boards here. We'll be bringing our nanny so she'll be in 1 BR and we'll be in the other.

We're debating between putting the pack 'n plays in the living room somewhere or in our bedroom. Obviously, the advantage of them being in our bedroom is that we can at least be in the living room after they go to bed whereas if they're in the living room we're pretty much confined to the bedroom.

Is there enough room in the bedroom for 2 pack 'n plays or will it be too tight a fit?

Any other thoughts on where to put toddlers (15 mo old) in a 2-BR would be appreciated!

The laundry room is huge at OKW and the pack and play fits it there if you need a nice quiet space for the baby to sleep.

Dumb question, if you're brining your nanny, why not put one in that room? I'd say you could easily fit both in the 2nd BR if only one person is staying in that room because the 2nd bed doesn't need to be accessible.

As far as the master BR, yes, you could probably fit both without a problem. It just may require some creative movement to get around. OKW rooms are big, so it's the best place to be to accomplish this.

What about this... could you request cribs while you're there (they're on wheels) and then you could start with them in either BR and move them out to the living room when everyone is ready to go to bed?

We do want them together so don't want to put one in the nanny's room and one in our room. Also, the nanny is really "off-duty" overnight so it's not really right to have them in her room (and the nanny's sister is joining us as well so both beds in that room will be used).

As long as they both fit in our bedroom we'll probably be fine. A tight fit is fine because we'll really only be going into the bedroom right as we go to sleep so there shouldn't be too much need to really move around in there.

In the master bedroom, a pack-n-play will fit between the bed and the bathroom and another between the bed and the exterior wall. You could also place them end-to-end at the foot of the bed. You'll just have to be flexible in your ability to manuever around that room. And they can be collapsed when they're not in use to give you more space. Have a great trip.

You are in the best place on property to accomplis this so relax and have fun. The rooms at OKW are big. You will figure it out without a problem. Don't sweat the little stuff. Just relax and have fun. Now if you had my DH then I would worry. He is 22 now but by the time he was just over a year he was vaulting over the railings of his crib and needed to be moved to a bed for fear of him hurting himself. Only other kid I have seen do this at a young age is my nephew and he is a carbon copy of my son in both looks and personality, so I think you are safe. Sis thinks this is funny but I keep trying to tell her that she is in for trouble when he is older. DS could sell ice to an eskimo. So unless you have a couple little con artists in training then just enjoy diisney through their eyes and have fun. The rest will take care of itself.

for anyone reading this post thinking about putting a crib or pack in play in the laundry room of OKW (a great place for it, IMHO)---PLEASE remember to remove the iron from the hanging wall thing--remove it anyway if you stay there with kid--as it is a walk thru to the bathroom. They are also in closets in many hotels. They are so dangerous--solid metal on a little head--horrible. Elaine
