Hi Guys,
ok, I need some advice.
2 familes, these are the only options that are available... (no values are available, CBR is the only moderate available.)

4 adults, 3 kids. (7,6,1)

1. Ft. Wilderness - both familes in the same cabin. $3,100
2. OKW - 2 seperate rooms. $3,000
3. CBR - 2 seperate rooms. $3,330

We are getting DP and tickets with all 3 reservations.

What would you all choose?
What are some of the drawbacks, and positives of each location?

Thanks!!

Can't you get a two bedroom villa at OKW??

I'd go with OKW. You'd have the balconies which is nice and queen sized beds. CBR would be my second choice. That many people in one cabin just sounds like a nightmare to me!

I have stayed at both OKW and CBR and they are both lovey resorts. Tropical feel to both, OKW has the boat to DTD which is nice and they both have spacious rooms. But I do enjoy having a balcony. CBR's main pool area would probably be a big hit with the kids the age of yours but the OKW pool is also very nice. Both CBR and OKW have quiet pools which are nice to have and at OKW the quiet pools have hot tubs (CBR has two hottubs at the main pool). OKW is very laid back but so is CBR. CBR has the food court which is nice and has far more options than Goods to Go the quick serve at OKW.

I do have to say I am amazed that CBR is coming up more than OKW pricewise which makes me think that is a very good deal you should jump on!

OKW is my choice because the rooms are spacious, you have queen sized beds, a mini kitchen that has the small sink, microwave and a larger frig (not full sized frig but larger than the frigs at the mods) and above all a balcony. When you have young kids that turn in early, its nice to have a place to out enjoy where you won't disturb them.

But for sure, get two rooms. I just can't imagine having 7 people in one bathroom even if one of them is a baby.

We love OKW! We always stay there on a large family trip. The "neighborhood" feeling is great.

Great info!! How far is OKW from the Parks?

it is in the same area as PO.

so it is close to DD and Epcot.

It is consider a DD resort.

We just came back from a lovely trip at OKW and found it to be very relaxing. We stayed in a studio, and liked having the microwave, mini fridge, and extra kitchen sink. There was just 2 of us (me and my sister) and we liked each having our own bed! The room was spacious, and the air conditioner was super cold - which coming back on a hot day was like a slice of heaven. The bathroom was also great, good water pressure, plenty of hot water and enough room for two to get ready using the bathroom mirror. Now, I don't know if you are planning on renting a car? We did and it was super easy to park in front of our room, unlike some of the deluxe properties where you self park really far. We did see lots of folks using the buses, and there seemed to be plenty of buses, if you dont plan to rent. We did take the boat to DTD, which was great. I recommend using your counter service credits at Wolfgang PUck Express and Earl of Sandwich - 2 of the best counter service experiences at Disney. I think you can have a very relaxing time at OKW if that is your choice! PM me if you have any specific questions!
