We are taking my extended family down in June. It's a last minute thing. We usually stay at BCV or BWV because we know we'll be in the same building.

Only SSR and OKW are available during the week we want to go. How hard is it to get rooms in the same building at OKW? I know they won't be next to each other but the same building would be good.

I would need either 2 2-bd or 2 studios and 1 2-bd. Is one scenario easier than another?

Also, how does the new booking category work for rooms near HH?

Thanks!!

I've requested to be near my guests several times at OKW. We have either been stacked (one unit directly above the other), in adjacent buildings, or in the same building. The last time, we had two studios right next to each other, but this is rarely available. Only a few U-shaped building have two studios adjacent to each other.

You really shouldn't have a problem being "nearby" at OKW.

I agree that it shouldn't be too difficult. We have done what you are doing twice in the last four years and we been grouped together both times including last June, 2 two-bedroooms and two studios, and they had us all in the same building.:goodvibes

We were "right next door" to our friends (we had a 2 Bedroom, they had a 1 Bedroom). However, the way the buildings are laid out with the rooms staggered a bit, their entrance was away from ours. It was actually really nice -- we were close, but both had our privacy as well!

We have always had great success getting rooms in the same building. We just request it when we make the reservations. Even when we are making a reservation and friends are making their own reservation, we have both requested to be near each other, and it always works. Usually we are in back to back rooms at OKW, which means different stairways, but right next door.
