OKW v. Saratoga Springs

Hi all-

BIL is able to get discounted 1 bedroom villas for us at either of these resorts so now it's decision time. What are the pros and cons of each. We have never stayed at either so it's hard to make a decision!

I've heard these two debated many times. I've never stayed OKW but we just came back from our SSR wedding. We stayed here two weeks and absolutely loved it. We were put in congress park which is a great 10 minute walk to DTD. We used this a lot. I loved artist palette for breakfast and little grocery trips and Turf Bar and Grill was a great restaurant. The room was really nice also and the bus stops were great, never to longer than 10 minutes. I would definately stay at SSR again.

There are pros/cons to each resort. Both resorts are huge with multiple bus stops. Both have on-site restaurants.

SSW-pros. Close enough to walk to DTD. Rooms are newer and therefore in better shape. Has a spa on site. Main pool is very nice.

OKW-pros. Rooms are bigger--it's especially obvious in the living/dining area. Balconies are huge. Landscaping is mature and provides more privacy and better scenery. Because of how the buildings are built, there is more privacy at the condo entrance.

We ended up with a one bedroom at OKW, and now I'm super excited for June to get here!

You'll have a nice time in OKW. Are you renting a car? one of the best things about OKW is that you can literally park your car at the door! Over all it certainly is a quiet and serene resort with a very laid back feel! And yes, the villas are huge! I'll be over in a BW villa in early June
