OKW to DD??

How far is the walk between the 53-56 bldgs at OKW and DD? Just wondering.

In the unlikely event we're given a choice of GV on Sunday, I'm wondering about the advantages of a villa on that extreme end of the complex.

About 9/10ths of a mile. The path starts in the cul-de-sac near bldg 55.

It depends what part of DTD you wish to 'end up at'. Generalizing, I'd say 1 to 1 1/2 miles....but it's a really nice walk in good weather!

You can walk from OKW to DTD? I always thought the ferry was the only way to go.

Yes you can walk to DTD from OKW. In fact, the path from OKW splits by SSR, at the golf course, splits and the one path ends at that Turf Club and ferry launch.

We were in building 55 last fall and it was wonderful. It took us ~15 minutes to walk to House of Blues

When we are 'home', DH walks to DD several times each trip.

It's 0.93 miles from the bridge at South Point to House of Blues.

Does that path also take you to SSR? When we were there last year, I asked, and was told that the only way to get over there is by boat. If you can take the path, how long does it take? If it's real short, DH could walk over to the LBV golf course and leave me the car.
