OKW to BWV in April?

I recently rented points from a DVC member for 6 nights in April (Easter week). I was hoping for a studio at BCV or BWV but according to the DVC owner, they were unavailable. He was able to get me a Studio at OKW. Supposedly, the DVC owner is on a wait list for my first choices. Will Disney contact the DVC owner if space opens up? What are the chances of this happening?

If the owner is on a waitlist, if what they are waitlisted for opens up then DVC will contact them to see if they want to change. Usually you have till the end of the next business day to call them back and confirm that you want to take the waitlisted spot that has become available.


easter week may be iffy about a waitlist coming available. Worst case scenario...you'll be at OKW, which isn't the wqorst thing that can happen!!!!!

It came through for me last year...I think in January(we were waitlisted at the 7th month window). We were at SSR the whole time and then thought I would try BWV...we had the preferred view(never got the standard view..but was waitlisted for that too). We had a great time. Hope yours comes through too.

I would not be too optimistic about Easter week. This is one of WDW's busiest times, but you never know. Sometimes the waitlist can surprise you. Good luck.
