OKW thru DVC rental vs off site suites?

Hi all--
I am trying to rent DVC points to stay at an OKW studio. From my calculations, it looks like it would cost about the same as the fairly nice off site suite we've reserved, once you factor in parking at Disney, etc. The drawbacks are limited housekeeping, no stove (fridge and micro though), no breakfast included, and all of us (kids 5 and 7) sleeping in the same room. I guess I wonder if we'll get "more bang for our buck" onsite, even with the smaller room. Any advice?

I would like to Try to stay 3-4 nights at okw and then the other nights at Hifs. I keep checking the DVC boards hopefully will try for something in May for our trip in December. That way we get a little of the Disney magic ( early entry) and I just love the Hifs. Have stayed there 3 times.
