OKW Studio Question

This may seem a bit odd, does the vacuum in the studio have a hose?

Thanks

I've never seen a DVC vacuum with a hose. They are just an upright without any tools. Unless they have replaced them with different ones.

I don't know about OKW. A few years ago DSis brought one of those spacesaver bags when we were in a BWV 1 bedroom. I was going to ask a mousekeeper to use a hose but there was one with the vacuum. I have never paid any attention in other rooms because I don't use the vacuum!

Same idea, was going to utilize the spacesaver bag, but need the vacuum for the return. I thought it was an upright but I was hoping for a hose.

I saw a picture of the viilas at OKW somewhere that showed the Vacuum in a cupboard, it looked like it had a hose - I'm hoping to use the space saving bags too:goodvibes

Get the bags that you squeeze out the air instead of vacuuming out the air.

I use the air compression bags from BB&B, no vacuum required. I ONLY use them for our dirty laundry tho for the return trip home. They help make room in the luggage for souvies & such...but FOR ME they wrinkle stuff up too much to use on my clean, freshly ironed stuff. Also, note that they hold a lot but they can get really heavy, really fast so allow for that if you're flying and you're trying to stay under 50 Lbs!!:thumbsup2

I took a look this weekend and I figured they where going to wrinkle everything. I also thought they would save on weight in the luggage but I was incorrect also. Decision made bring the extra suitcase. :) thanks for all your help!

LOL! Clothes weigh what clothes weigh. Squeezing the air out doesn't make them lighter. FYI, the vacuums at OKW do NOT have a hose. We too use the ones where you roll them to squeeze the air out. FYI, things do wrinkle a little, but not badly. The only serious wrinkling I have is on the things I put inside the space bags to put them in the owner's locker. Of course, that is more due to the fact that it sometimes stays in there for a year!
