This is a dumb question. I wanted to know more about the comparison of bus transport to OKW, SSR, and BCV. 1) Specifically which resorts or how many internal stops each of these share in terms of bus transportation and 2) If there are any other means of transportaton at the resort. Ex: SSR has a walking path to DTD.

We have only stayed at SSR when the bus transporation had 3 internal stops: Carousel, Springs, and Paddock and have heard there is another or two? We are contemplating between these resorts for a graduation trip. This is much appreciated. Thank you.

OKW has 5 internal bus stops, a walking path to DtD (about a mile) and a boat to DtD and SSR.

there are 3 on the old map - so 2 more plus the non-stop in front of the main pool when it first arrives from the parks sounds right for SSR.

OKW has 5.

BCV and BWV varify - sometimes they are the only stop - other times it is just BC and BW - other times it is BC and YC. other times it is all the Epcot resorts. it seems to verify alot.

VWL also seems to verify. sometimes WL shares with Cont - other times with the Polyn and GF. other times with FW.

bcv and BWV you can walk or boat to both Epcot and Studios.

VWL you can boat to MK.

We were at SSR last week and there are 4 internal bus stops - Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park and Springs. We stayed in the Springs.

There is also a boat that can take you from SSR to DTD. We used it several times and enjoyed it. It stopped on the West Side and the Marketplace.

SSR and OKW both have 5 stops personally I have never waited more than 20 minutes. When I stayed at BC they also stopped at YC. It's a very short walk to Epcot from YC and a little longer walk to MGM but not bad. You can also take a boat from the lake by BC/BWV to epcot. I have always been very impressed with the transportation at all the WDW properties, it's pretty amazing if you think about all the people they move. Disney would put most mass transit operations to shame.

Either Carousel or Paddock has 2, not sure since I have not stayed at either yetJust remember stopping three times before getting to CP Springs is after CP. Supposed to be two more when the final phase is complete.

On our visit to SSR in November, the stops were:
- Congress Park
- Paddocks
- Springs
Carousel had not yet opened. I'm sure things will be in flux as this resort opens new sections. There is also a boat from SSR to DTD (shared with OKW).
SSR is a huge resort. IMHO a car would be a help if your villa is in the Paddocks area, as the walk to the main pool/hospitality house is a good stretch of the legs.

BWV - every time we have stayed here (or at neighboring BCV) the bus stops have been Swan/Dolphin, YC/BC, BWV. Boats go to MGM and Epcot. My opinion of the bus service, based on this route, is not favorable. This route is too long; I'm a patient gal, but it's a bit much. Getting to the AK, MK, DTD and the waterparks can take a while. Next time we're here, we're renting a car.

OKW - there is a boat to DTD. The bus stops are hospitality house, Peninsular Road, South Point Road, Turtle Pond Road and Miller Road, sometimes in a different order. There is an internal bus. This is our home resort. Except for the mid-afternoon, buses run fairly regularly. We have no complaints.

SSR - doesn't it stop first at the main pool/food court - that stop was nice because if your wanted to refill your mug or grab something to eat - you were there. This is not the Springs stop. The springs is across the street.

I think it was the Carriage house stop?

have they stopped this bus stop?

In May, there were at least 4 stops at SSR. Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park, and Springs. The Springs stop is the one across from the pool and the one you would use to get to Artists palette. I am sure there will be a grandstand stop, as well, once they complete that area.

SSR does have an internal shuttle, too.

At this time there are 4 at SSR. Carousel, Paddocks, Congress Park and the Springs.
