OKW sales status prior to selling BWV?

Does anyone know how close to sold-out OKW was before BWV came on line?

They built additional units when the original units were sold out which prolonged the process, making BWV and OKW available at the same time for at least a short time. They notified all the members of the additional units for sale except those of us living in Connecticut-we never did get notice of the additional sales.

OKW sold out originally in 1998 (I think) and BWV began sales in 1996 (VB began in 1995- HH in 1996). There were about 2 years when DVC was selling all 4 resorts actively.

After selling out in 98, OKW tore down the Commodore House (former sales office) and constructed buildings 62, 63 and 64 and then reopened sales in 99. (This construction was part of the original building plan and was listed in the early POS as an additional phase- planned from the start.) This added another year+ of selling all 4 resorts actively.

Both OKW (for the second time) and BWV (for the first time) sold out in the fall just before sales began for VWL. Public sales at VWL were stopped in late Jan. 2002 (still saving some points for purchase as add-ons) and BCV sales began in Feb 2002.

VWL reopened some public sales this past winter and BWV has now reopened sales after deciding to formally move the sales offices to SSR soon. This opened up space for more BWV rooms and made another 100,000 points available for purchase (plus any recaptured thru ROFR).
