OKW Room Request

Any suggestions? we've never stayed here before so we need your help/opinions....

We'd like a nice view (maybe pool or garden) and not too far of a walk to bus stop - we'll be staying in a studio

any help is greatly appreciated

We stayed in building 26 in May (we were in a 2BR). It was right next to a bus stop, we had a view of a small pond from our balcony, and it was a very short walk to the Hospitality House, main pool, and Olivia's. We loved the location.

I don't know when you're going, but the main pool will be closed from (I think) sometime in Sept. until the end of the year (someone please correct me if I have the wrong dates) because they are adding a pool slide. So, depending on when you are going and if easy access to a pool is important, you may want to choose an area close to one of the quiet pools.

I'm so glad you started this thread. My mom and I are going down in December, the 8-13th. We have never stayed at OKW so we are really looking forward to it. We want to be close to a bus stop and close to a quiet pool if possible, any suggestions?

just ask for to be near the bus stop and with a view of water.

of near a bus stop and a quiet pool - there are few of these buildings - 18, 19, 20, 21

just depends upon which you want the worst - to be near the bus stop or the quiet pool or water view

put them in the order that you want the most.

1.nice view

I think the nice views were mostly of the golf course (as most of the OKW views are of)

If the main pool closes for 3 months will they allow usage of any other major pools? Thanks.

You are never far from a pool or a bus stop at OKW. The views from a studio is another thing. It will be hit or miss with the view situation. The studios are on the sides of the buildings and do not always offer a view worth mentioning, plus the porch is very small in a studio, not one you would want to sit out in very long to look at any view. then again you could get lucky and have a very nice view, just don't get your heart set on a view. You should have a great time, have fun.

Just state your preferences like you did here, near a bus stop with water view, and you should be fine. Most buildings at OKW are near a bus stop and all are within easy walking distance of a pool.

Thanks everyone, that was great. Should we fax in a room request form, and if so, how far out? Or, should we just wait until we get there and ask to be in a studio near a bus stop and quiet pool???

You should make all you requests when you make the reservation. If you didn't, call MS and let them know what you would like.
