Does anyone know what the renovations in the turtle pond buildings will be like? Will the rooms look different, or will it just be painted, new carpets, replace furniture, etc? My MIL requested this area, and the CM said the renovations should be done by the time we go, so I was just wondering what to expect.

The rooms have had the same general look as long as I can remember (since 1995) renovations usually consist of fresh paint, carpet, furnishings, etc. The most dramatic change I have noticed is the new blinds, and flat panal TV's.

Basicaly they will always be the same to keep to the theme. We have seen some fabric patterns change occationally. I suppose that's because they can't find exact matches when they refurb. They do stay true to the color palette though, and the carpeting remains the same.

do you know if all the rooms will be getting flat panel tv'ss? we were just there in building 25 and the tv was so small, room was very clean and I beleive updated though.

I don't think there's much they can do about the size of the TV's given they are all in armoires or the kitchen island cainet.
