We're spending two nights at OKW. The last time we stayed there, we were right across from the Hospitality House, but we had no view whatsoever. Is there a way to get close to the Hospitality House but still have a nice view? Thanks for your help.

Do you have the reservation in the Near HH category? If so, see if you can get bldgs 23 to 26, across the bridge from the check-in area.

Thank you Chuck. I just made the reservation, chose the option of near HH, then sent a request for the bldgs you suggested. I hope we get our request. Thanks for your quick response!

I was in building 11. My view was of the golf course and trees. Very quiet and private. I guess some would consider that "no view," but I was happy.

OKW is such a beautiful resort, I didn't know you could have a bad view there

I was in building 28 once, the view was all trees, practically right up to the balcony. It was along a fairway. The room was dark because there was little sunlight coming in. After that, I always requested water views.

I have noticed some studios appear to have shrubbery that is quite over grown. This makes them very dark.

Are you staying in a studio? If so, sadly, I think the studio views are less than great at OKW. The studios themselves are often tucked on the outer ends of the buildings and are more recessed, so you don't have a big expansive view. Regardless, your best bet would be to ask for a higher floor (the higher the floor, the better the view) and what kind of view....golf course view, pond view, etc. Then maybe 'best view possible.' Good luck...

Second time I stayed at my home resort (December 2013) I requested first floor. Big mistake. Front view was of the walkway and thus no privacy. And the patio had high bushes with no therefore no view--except of the bushes.
Fortunately, due to an air conditioner leak, I was upgraded to a 1 BR. Front view was of Peninsular Road (if I was paying $400+ per night I would be ticked off), back view was almost forest.

We stayed in room 2313 and had a beautiful view of the golf course and water
