Renovations will be complete in March.Thanks. If we go there it would be in August - so maybe the reno will be complete.
Most of the buildings have already been completed. There are several still to go and those will be finished later this spring.
At this point I'd just request a renovated villa and see what happens. All of the units in the HH category have been renovated, so if you can get that booking category it would guarantee what you want.
Good luck!

They were also working on one of the buildings on Millers Road this weekend.
My son (17 yr old 6'2") slept on the sleeper bed, as did my husband who is about the same height, but larger. Both said it was fairly comfortable. But on Sat night when my husband slept on it, my son was in the king bed with me (Bill and his friend were both getting up at 3AM to run the marathon and Will and I got to sleep it) and he liked the bed better.

We're thinking of staying at OKW for the first time this year. How do the sleeper beds compare to other resorts? (I've read previous posts of yours so I know you've stayed at other resorts)![]()
My son, the sleeper sofa expert, likes the ones at BCV better than the ones at OKW and SSR. The mattress is more substantial.
BCV has the ones that the cushions stay attached and flip under. OKW and SSR have the ones with the platforms and segmented mattress/foam pad (memory foam). Sleeper chairs are similar to the OKW/SSR sleeper sofa.
But all of them are horrid for sitting.
Thanks for the info. My kids liked the one at BCV more than SSR. So what did they refurb at OKW?
Have all the room been renovated? What type of request would one ask for if they wanted a chance on getting a renovated 1 BR or 2 BR there?
. One of the first things I do when checking into any room is put the bath mat down on the floor. But overall looking forward to our first stay at our "home" on our first trip as members. Hoping for a renovated room too of course, and by mid-March that shouldn't be much of a problem. I couldn't reserve HH area when I made my reservation in December so I requested buildings 45 or 46.The bathroom worries me that there were no updates. I hate stepping on the tiles in bare feet.
