Can OKW 2br villas accommodate, legally, 9? We are planning on booking Kidani 7 mos out but want to have a backup plan if we get wait listed. I know BLT 2br does too but not counting on that, either....I read the refurbed OKW villas have the chair beds....and we would need that with 4 adults, 4 medium sized kids and 2 babies under 2....

and yes...we (the two families that will be going) are very close and spend that much time together at my bro's lake house every weekend in close quarters

With the addition of chair bed 2brs sleep 9; I don't know if that has been written up as 'official' but as far as I've heard MS is permitting 9 plus addition of 1 child under 3yrs so you should be fine. If you want secondary access to bathroom of master bedroom you have to request a building numbered above 30 which will have additional access through the laundry room otherwise that bathroom will only be accessible by walking through the master bedroom.

I believe all 2 BR's will allow you to book 9 plus 1 < 3. The question is whether or not they have the "Ched" (Chair bed). The renovated OKW rooms do have that as well as those 2 BR's are the biggest in the WDW DVC system, so you'll have a bit more elbow room.

To a previous point, you'll want building 30+ if you want people to have access to the master bath and not have to come through your bedroom to get there.

Given the lower numbers are closer to the hospitality house, we've never not had one of those buildings, but come the time you care you know what happens .

We've had 7 in an OKW 2BR (6 adults and 1 child) and found it to be no problem. The dedicated 2 BR with 2 queed beds in the 2nd make it a great choice.

All OKW 2 bedrooms, dedicated and lockoff, have 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom. All OKW studios have 2 queen beds. It is the only resort in the DVC system with that configuraton.

There was no bedding provided for our chair bed in the OKW GV...it was, too late, after 1am, when one of the little ones couldn't sleep and there was no room to bring them into the pull out couch with two adults already in the couch. So check that out first thing on check in.

Just returned from a six night stay at Saratoga Springs, we had a group of nine total (6 adults and 3 children) in a 2BR villa.
