OKW pool @ Turtle Pond, etc... HELP?

I might cancel our PC and just borrow the points for OKW. We know we are going now and have already bought MNSSHP.

OKW was all that was available when I checked availability yesterday for early October.

I'm gonna request Turtle Pond or South Point. Is that correct? I want to avoid construction views near HH due to the pool and slide.

If I vaguely request just Turtle Pond or South Point will we be near a pool at any place within those areas or no? Do I also need to request close to pool, too?

Either of these area pools have a spa, too?

What are typical hours for the snack bar at Turtle Pond?

We've always requested to be near the Turtle Pond pool and have ended up within a 1-3 minute walk of the pool. There are buildings just as you turn into Turtle Pond Road, and these would be further away.

There's a spa there. It didn't seem like the snack bar opened up very early -- ? 11 AM maybe. Sorry, but I don't recall.

Haven't stayed at South Point, but DH has walked down there to use the pool and it was quiet. It's a smaller pool, without a snack bar. Don't recall about the spa.

South Point also has a spa. A few years ago our we stayed in a one bedroom with a balcony overlooking the spa. The pool is much smaller and very quiet. The Turtle pond pool is a large pool and is usually a little busier and has more of the feel of the main pool. The same music is played as at the main pool so you have that Old Key West feeling and with the snack bar there, there is always some activity. It all depends on what type of atmosphere you prefer.
