OKW Pool Questions?

I will be staying at Disney's Old Key West in July. Is the main pool crowded at this time of year? Do I need to get out early to save a chair?

Also, I've picked up an additional room for my parents using my DVC points, and they are in their 70's. Are there tables with umbrella's at the OKW main pool? Thanks!

The main pool at OKW is very similar to the other 3 pools, only larger. No slide or big theming, the only real difference is the sauna in the lighthouse. As far as chairs, I just returned from OKW. I stayed near the Turtle Pond pool, and there were always chairs available. OKW really doesn't seem to have the "chair problem" of other Disney resorts. As far as table with umbrellas near the main pool - yes, there are some...there are more along Turtle Crawl (the boardwalk area near the snack bar and weight room).

All 4 pools have tables with umbrellas. If you get near a small pool you should be as comfortable as the main pool. I like the small pools equally as well as the main pool. It is difficult to say how crowded things will be during July. I will be there so there will be a least one other person there I can be sure of, otherwise it is anybodys guess how the pools will be.
