OKW please help with bed config ?!

I am going in August with 4 other couples- 5 total....someone else booked the ressie with a travel agant. I am told we got 1& 1/2 Villas at OKW...and I am told the beds are 1 room with a master bedroom in it and a pull out sofa in the living area, and one 2 bedroom unit with 1 queen bed in a bedroom and 1 queen bed & a sleeper sofa in the bedroom also??
does this sound right?
also the only bathrooms are in the bedrooms?

1-bedrom - 1 king bed in the master, 1 queen sleeper sofa in the living room. - whirlpool tub and shower stall in the bath

2-bedroom - combinations of the above

this only at OKW. the others are different.

No. It doesn't sound correct.

At OKW, a studio has 2 queen beds.

A one bedroom has a king bed in the bedroom and a sleeper in the livingroom.

A 2 bedroom has a king bed in one of the bedrooms, 2 queens in the other bedroom and a sleeper in the livingroom.

The bathrooms are in the bedrooms in the studio and in the second bedroom.

In the 2 bedrooms, some units have access from the hall as well as from the bedroom, with a divided bath - jacuzzi tub and sink in one part and sink, toilet and shower in the second part.

I'm not quite sure what they mean by one and 1/2 villas?

Can you get a studio with a one bedroom lock off? Maybe thats what she got...
but still the bedroom with a sleep sofa and queen bed in it doesnt sound right....

It sounds as though you have reserved a 2BR villa and a 1BR villa. As already noted, at OKW the 2nd BR has only 2 queens, the master BR has a King bed and the living area has a sleep sofa.

None of the 2nd BRs (studios) at OKW have a sleep sofa. Those are only found in the living room of the 1, 2 and 3BR villas.

There is one bathroom for each bedroom. In buildings 11 - 29 the only access to the bathroom is thru the master bedroom in 1 and 2BR villas. Buildings 30 - 64 all have an additional access thru the laundry area. In all villas, access to the jacuzzi tub is via the masterbedroom.

You can at other DVC resorts, but as far as I know, not at OKW. OKW only has the lockoffs with 2 queens in them.

A studio and a one-bedroom is another way of saying "a two bedroom lockoff". You can get this at OKW and I believe at all the resorts as well.

Two types of 2 bedrooms. Dedicated means a unit with a second bedroom, bathroom and no outside door or deck. Lock-off means a one bedroom with the connecting door to a studio opened up -- this "bedroom" also has a kitchenette, balcony and door to the outside front.

Both of these options have a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and two queen beds in the "second bedroom".

A studio will sleep four - two queen beds.
A one bedroom will sleep four - one king bed and one queen sleeper sofa (in the living room).
A two bedroom will sleep eight - one king bed, two queen beds and one queen sleeper sofa (in the living room).

You really need to find out what you really have.

Are you SURE both rooms are at OKW? There is no configuration like that at OKW. It really sounds more like a 2 bedroom lock off to me, but the bed configuration is wrong. As noted earlier in this thread, OKW has 1 king in the master of ALL multiroom units, and 2 queens in the second bedroom that share a bath as well as a living room with a pull out queen sofa.

at OKW no. well there is the GV - it has queen sleeper sofa in the livingroom. king in the master, upstairs - 2 queen beds in one room and 2 double (full) beds in the other room.

Like Pat said, that would be a Grand Villa (sleeps 12) and they are seldom if ever available for cash through CRO.

There are no 1 and 2 bedrooms that "connect". They would be separate units. A 3 bedroom would be a grand villa but that is a totally different setup than a 1 and 2 bedroom.
