OKW - parking and more than one car

We will be staying at OKW in December. We are thinking about inviting my father-in-law over for an evening, which means he would be driving from the Tampa/Clearwater area in his own car; we are also renting a car. Will the resort allow him to park there. If it gets too late for him to leave and he decides to stay the night, can he park at OKW overnight?

The one time I stayed at OKW, it was just like staying at a small motel. A small parking lot in front of each building and you just park where ever. In fact, I remember, all the spots in front of our unit were taken and I had to park across the parking lot near the road. When it poured rain later that day, I had to hoof it across the parking lot and unlock the door. I was soaked by the time I got in and cursed OKW for not having valet parking!! GRRRR!!!!!!


LOL!! Anyway, I guess all that was supposed to say, I'm sure there won't be a problem with parking. LOL!!

It should not be a problem at all. When you check in, ask for two dashboard parking passes, and add your father-in-law as a registered guest.

We've done that when we've had guests for part of our stay at OKW.

We've had two cars on numerous occasions at OKW - no problem at all.

You'll have no problem. Definitely ask for two parking passes when you check in and you'll be all set. Have a great time!!

We sometimes have friends who live in the Orlando area visit us while we are at OKW. Last month my friend knew our name & room number, so the guard let her in to the resort several times without a problem. One time friends were not sure which room we rwere in, so the guard sent them to the check-in desk. You might want to add your FIL to your reseravation, so he can be told what room you are in.
