OKW or Jambo in December

I am back and forth over which resort to stay for our Pre Christmas visit.
We just stayed at Kidani and loved it. We enjoyed a summer stay at OKW a couple years ago too. Kidani is full so not an option.
Our considerations:
I think Jambo would be more decorated than OKW at Christmas. Am I correct? What is decorated at OKW?
We are not doing Disney parks but have Sea World/Aquatica passes. When we leave we will head to Tampa for a few days at Busch Gardens, so will be seeing lots af animals either way.
It seems OKW is a lot more convenient to SW, which is open till 11 so I could see us going at opening, hopping to Aquatica if weather permits, and coming "home" a few hours before heading to late night at Sea World some of the days.
OTOH, I love Animal Kingdom and am already looking forward to Christmas decorations. I also prefer staying at AKL in cold months since when it is so hot outside the fire pits are a waste to me. OKW seems like a summer resort where AKL is a winter resort.
Since we will not be using Disney transportation, the parking at OKW is so much better than Jambo where we always end up in no man's land.
It will be myself, DH, and 18 year old son in a studio. The bedding situation at either does not matter to us.
What am I not considering and where should we stay? I booked Jambo a few weeks ago and have often second guessed myself which is not something I usually do.

i've stayed at both and it's a no-lose situation. (your DS might prefer the real bed at OKW but probably won't matter.)

I'm obsessed with Disney at Christmas, and to me, nothing tops AKL for decorations. The lobby is just gorgeous at christmas, and although other resorts like the GF have massive trees and tons of garland as well, the fact that the AKL is so dark makes it much more gorgeous. I own at BWV but hope to snag a room at Jambo house any time I go in December.

While I agree with you about Jambo being so great, I think the BWV lobby is particulaly stunning for the holidays, too!

At OKW there are decorations, but they don't do it for either DH or myself the way either Jambo or BWV or VWL, well any of the other DVCs, do.

We spent Christmas at OKW two years ago, but we were in a 2 bedroom and decorated a lot ourselves. It was very cold (even for Canadians!) so we only went out on our huge balcony once or twice and with blankets. I think Jambo would have been nice for the decorations and Christmas atmosphere, and to be able to walk out into a hallway and nice lobby instead of right outside from your door. I would keep Jambo and enjoy every minute of it!

Thank you for your replies.
I feel better about my Jambo reservation. I just wonder if we will be spending so much more time in the car. It seems OKW is almost at the DD exit and would be about half the travel time. That combined with having the car outside our door as opposed to Jambo's parking is what makes we wonder...

I guess you have to decide what is more important - your surroundings when you are at the resort, or the convenience outside the resort. We stayed at Kidani last month and drove everywhere (no park passes), and honestly, I didn't feel it was far to anywhere. Maybe an extra 5-10 minutes depending on stoplights, but not bad at all. And the exit to the 192 or Osceola Pkwy is right beside AKL.
