OKW Olivia's Question

Can you get take-out from Olivia's at OKW? We stayed at SSR in June and it was unavailable from their sit-down restaurant.

I don't think you can get take out from any Disney TS except on very rare occasions. They are not set up to do carry out.

Olivia's does not do carryout. They used to, but stopped shortly after the dining plan was instituted. Scuttlebutt was that they stopped because dining plan users were insisting on paying for carryout with a counter service credit instead of a full table service credit.'

Even if you order food at the Gurgling Suitcase from the Olivia's menu, you must eat it in the bar. You can carry leftovers but not a full meal.

I'm guessing that it's a union/tip issue. Just like Bell Services requires you to be in your room to collect a tip.

Offer the server a tip if they will pack your food to go and see what they say.

So the only place on-site you can get take out is Good's Food-to-go?

There are some prepackaged items available at the seasonal Turtle Shack, near the Turtle pond pool, but they have a better selection at Good's to Go. There are also a few snack items in the Conch Flats General Store.


As others said, most Disney table service location discontinued all take-out service shortly after the DDP was introduced.

Thanks for that info. I remember a few years ago seeing someone order food from Olivia's at Goods to Go and taking it back to their villa. I didn't know you couldn't do that any more, and we've been planning to do it sometime. But it makes sense that you can't now.
