OKW-Need info and map please

Could someone link me to a map of OKW?

Could you tell me about the 2 bedroom villas also?

The two bedroom villas at OKW are about 1300 sqare feet which is about the size of a range house or at least a small one. We stay in a one bedroom or two bedroom everytime we stay at OKW. It has washer & dryer, plus a complete kitchen. I have stayed in many suites and have never seen a bathroom area like the one and two bedroom have off the master bedroom. It is huge. The master has a king of course, and the other bedroom has two queens. The porch is great to sit out and just take in everything with a good size table and 4 chairs. You should have a real good time there, I find myself spending more time at OKW and the villas everytime we go there, it is so relaxing. There are one bedroom villas that have a studio attached if you would like to go that way. I always get the strait 2 bedroom however. There is one thing that you should know the two bedrooms that are in buildings 30 and above have a seperate entrance to the master bath from the living room that goes through the laundry room. This is handy if you plan on having someone sleep in the living room-they will not have to go through the master bedroom to get to the bath. Hope this helps

Now that Doc has shown a map of OKW I must say that I have stayed at OKW 14 times since being a member and have never had a bad area to stay in, you are always close to a pool and a bus stop. Now if you have some special problem walking or have some small children you may have a preference but I do not. There are no bad areas to stay as far as I am concerned and I have stayed in all 4 of the major areas and along the main street running down to South Point a couple of times. It is just outstanding. When requesting a room if you want to put in personal requests, the first should be smoking or non smoking after that if you have someone that can not walk up stairs then request the bottom floor, there are a couple of buildings that have elevators must most do not. There is a kiddie pool near the main pool while the rest of the pools do not have one.

I have to agree about the location. We have been going since '93 and I rarely request a location. We have stayed in every area and each has its benefits. The only complaint I ever had was parking near bldg 51 or 52.

The two bedroom has an even larger master bath than the GVs. The living room is huge with plenty of room to have the men over there while the ladies are over here. It really feels like a "Home away from Home"

I know nothing is guaranteed. We do have 2 small children and my MIL will be with us who has some mobility issues.

Should I request a certain area or a certain building? Maybe close to the Hospitality House if I know that is where we are going to spend a lot of our time? Is that where Olivia's is located?

The only request we have at this point is non-smoking.

I'd suggest simply requesting an area rather than a specific buidling. "Near HH" offers much more chance for success than asking for Building 12.

Yes, Olivias is at the HH area, so is everything else you should need. A lot of pople with small children like the HH area, you should also. Enjoy

Only buildings 62, 63 & 64 have elevators, so if steps will be a problem, request first floor. If your MIL has medical problems with steps, say that you need first floor for medical reasons, you will be more likely to get it.

FYI -- When looking at the map, your main view is out the back of the building. For example, Unit 27 is along Peninsular Road but you would be looking at the fairway in the rear of the building.
