OKW in October/November?

We are waiting for ROFR for points at OKW. We typically like to travel during the first week in November (sometimes starting in late October). I have read in a few different places that this is a popular time for DVC members. My question is, at the 11 month time frame will I still have trouble getting a 1 or 2 bedroom at OKW? How about a studio? Just curious about our odds since w are *hopefully* going to be DVC owners soon.

If you call 11 months in advance, you will have no trouble at all getting whatever you want. Generally for almost every resort, if you call at the 11 month mark, you won't have a problem. The only time I ever had a problem was for a standard view 2BR at the BWV for New Year's eve. I eventually got it through a wait list.

11 months ahead, you aren't likely to find difficulty getting reservations at any DVC resort - even at times that seem to be more popular.

BWV standard view rooms and BW views, HH summer reservations (especially studios and 1BR villas), VB in winter months, BWV and OKW GV's and all onsite DVC resorts during Thanksgiving and early Dec all tend to go quickly at 11 months- but even then there will often be availability at 7 months.

I wouldn't worry about getting a 2BR 11 months ahead at any home resort.
